That’s what ‘readers’ did at Auckland’s first Human Library last weekend.
Presented by Splice and the Central Library at the Festival for the Future, the Human Library was a huge success with both readers and ‘books’ extremely enthusiastic about their interactions.
“This should be a nation-wide event,’ was just one of the many positive comments.
Providing a secure environment for conversations to take place between people who may not normally have an opportunity to connect, the Human Library is designed to challenge societal stereotyping and weave connections from one side of our city to the other.
