Welcome to our church – we invite you to look around and get a feel for our church. If you’re not currently a member of our church – we’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our weekly services.
We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries.
We offer the full services of the Methodist Church of New Zealand – offering spiritual and pastoral care for members and the community.
Sunday Worship and extending the Word of God to all people. Caring for, and supporting anyone in need in the Parish.
Who are we:
Some middle age and many senior European and a few children. We welcome people of all cultures. We are an english speaking congregation and our Church building is also used by Fijian, Tongan, Tuvaluan and Afrikaans Fellowships, who operate independently.
What do we do Together
Women’s Fellowship Meetings, Mainly Music for Mothers/carers of pre-school children, Coffee & Dessert Evening near Christmas.
Methodist/Anglican Covenant – what do we do?
We have had 2 combined services on Wesley Day in May, on different years, and each Church has hosted this event.
Our Community Involvement
- We interact with other Church Groups and Christian School, plus maintain a good relationship with Wesley College.
- The Women’s Fellowship holds a Combined Churches Social at the beginning of Advent.
- Our Harvest Festival was donated to the Salvation Army Foodbank.
- Services at local Rest Homes monthly.
