Our mission is to worship God, celebrate our Christian faith through action in our community, our country and our world.
Who are we:
Wesley Methodist Church Dargaville are an inclusive group, all races, creeds and colour are welcome. Importance is placed on our love for God and our wish to join together as part of his family.
We are a multi-cultural group of individuals, predominantly older in years, with a sprinkling of families and young people, our congregation consists of mainly NZ European people, Maori, Tongan, Samoan, Dutch, Canadian, and South African folks (listed in no particular order).
Dargaville Methodist is a stand alone parish, (in fact we are the only. Methodist Parish in Northland).
What do we do Together
We celebrate our faith, share our love and worship together. Our group is widely represented in the community doing good works through our involvement in many groups and projects. We are people of faith and action.
We are passionate about people, especially children and have a strong outreach through a Friday Friendzy Program which we run twice yearly, generally in May and September. This program runs for 3 consecutive Fridays from 5:00 to 7:00pm and consists of games, songs, bible stories, food, fun and friendship.
